Incremental Model

This is very similar to the Waterfall model but it falls into the iterative models.This model can be used in places where the project can be divide into modules.

The main advantage is that, it combines the advantages of both waterfall and prototype models.

Tha main disadvantage is that, there is no overlap allowed between stages and so time cannot be saved.

The diagram below looks similar to the waterfall model but after the last stage it goes over to the requirement analysis stage.
