Assistant Professor of Computer Science Ioan Raicu served as co-chair of the 6th ACM Workshop on Many-Task Computing on Clouds, Grids, and Supercomputers (MTAGS) 2013, along with Ian Foster (University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory), Yong Zhao (University of Electronic Science and Technology of China), and Justin Wozniak (Argonne National Laboratory). The workshop was part of the prestigious IEEE/ACM Supercomputing 2013 conference and took place on November 17th in Denver Colorado. The workshop program attracted over 100 attendees and comprised a keynote talk by Douglas Thain (Notre Dame), a panel discussion featuring renowned researchers (Robert Grossman, Xian-He Sun, Judy Qiu, and Alexandru Iosup), 2 invited research papers, and 5 peer-reviewed research papers.
