After studying the detailed architecture and functioning of different kinds of adders, we can highlight some of the most outstanding and problematic features of adders. Adder is important element of ALU design. The performance of the Half Adder can be upgraded by using Ripple Carry Adder.As shown previously, the performance of the Ripple Carry Adder can be improved if we can predict carry output in advance, as in the case of Carry look ahead adder. In look ahead Carry adder the computation cannot be further done, unless the third bit is generated by the summation of two binary digit. Hence to overcome this problem Ripple Carry Ahead Adder was designed
