QUIZZES/EXAMS
There will be two closed book and
closed notes quizzes and three closed book and closed notes exams given during
lecture.
No unexcused make-up quizzes or exams are allowed. If there is a legitimate reason for missing an exam or quiz (e.g., family emergency or doctor verified illness), arrangements must be made *via email * before the exam or quiz. If the emergency or illness arises too late for prior notification, then written documentation from a parent or doctor must accompany making arrangements for making up the exam or quiz.

the Final Exam or fails to show up for the Final Exam.

Note: Grades will be posted on blackboard, but total points as reported by blackboard are not used to calculate final grades. Final grades will be calculated using the above weights.
